I miss her so much, but Bear has benifitted from being the only one in training.
About that work day, SAY WHEN!
Cant wait to meet up with you and Kristen and have a little fun!Darcihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09113110576392325773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9573091.post-49170857803727423442009-06-29T10:17:28.401-06:002009-06-29T10:17:28.401-06:00Thanks everyone.
Kathy, I am able to email or ca...Thanks everyone.

Kathy, I am able to email or call Scott for advice. He's been pretty generous with me that way, so I haven't wanted to take advantage and bug him too much. But I think I will seek out his advice a bit more over the next couple of months, to make sure I am on the right track.

Darci, you are much closer to me now, and I'd love to get together and work dogs! You, Kristen, and I will have to plan a working weekend one of these days! And, by the way, congrats on Chris's pregnancy!

Carolyn, that's a good point about my mental state probably affecting Taz's work. I have been all over the place mentally and emotionally since the layoff, but I'm starting to get back on track. I got another job (so much for lots of free time to work the dogs--phooey!), and while it's not exactly my dream job, it's better than nothing for now. So I'm not quite as stressed, and hopefully things will continue to fall into place now.

And Kristen, I think you need to come out here to work the dogs again soon! I can't wait until you get your situation squared away, because I am so excited to come out to your place. I'll email you later today...Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15118131996152150797noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9573091.post-24296866427549454092009-06-27T21:25:02.550-06:002009-06-27T21:25:02.550-06:00Yeah!! finally an update. They sure keep us humble!
No fencing or house yet and the junks still here but at least we get to graze sheep on a daily basis.
Thanks for the offer to help find Sam. I'm so gald he's back.

Sounds like you and Taz are doing good. Keep at it. Slow and steady wins!
I'm going to get over there again...I swear. At least after the house gets here!
How's the new job coming?
I'll keep checking your blog. It makes me feel like I know you better!
BTW...keep your eye out for a puppy prospect for me. I'm on the look out. Not hurrying though!
Kristenkristenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13878670005950010420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9573091.post-91382414684610947442009-06-27T12:16:34.573-06:002009-06-27T12:16:34.573-06:00So glad you posted an update, I have missed readin...So glad you posted an update, I have missed reading your blog & was starting to worry about you.

I am sorry to hear about your job. I lost my job in February and have been on the unemployment vacation since. The upside is there is TONS of time to work your dogs!!!

It is wonderful you were able to go to Scotts clinic and get the reinforcement you needed! Stay positive and relaxed ...I know for me when I am able to stay in a good mental place my dog gives me beautiful work. When I am stressed and freaky - she slices the tops off her outruns, harasses the sheep and in general acts out my mood. It is quite humbling really - a reality check I need to help me keep it real and positive.BCxFourhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03913197081466508005noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9573091.post-79801535804586185822009-06-27T01:01:18.800-06:002009-06-27T01:01:18.800-06:00Good to have ya back blogging! But getting to work with others has always helped me, and especially with those who can and will point out what ya need to do, what the dog needs for you to do, and where ya do and dont need to be. Im back in Utah now, maybe we can get together some time in the near future and work some dogs! How far is Eerie from Rangley?Darcihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09113110576392325773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9573091.post-14600741910234837512009-06-26T17:14:11.474-06:002009-06-26T17:14:11.474-06:00I am glad to hear that you are figuring things out...I am glad to hear that you are figuring things out with Taz.
